About Dr. Meghan Faith

Dr. Faith is a licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. She has 12 years of clinical experience and has practiced as a psychologist in: Philadelphia, PA; Oakland, CA; and Denver, CO. Dr. Faith aims to understand each individual’s unique experience from a place of empathy and genuine presence.

In treatment with Dr. Faith, she will work to create an in-depth relationship with you, in which you feel supported and secure to explore your authentic self, your needs, relationships, problems, and patterns of being that may be impacting your health. She may explore with you the origins of relationship problems so that you may break free from old patterns that are no longer useful.

Dr. Faith believes that individual problems often stem from the interactions and histories that we have with systems in our lives, including our families as well as larger environmental and cultural forces. She views her clients and their problems in the context of these relationships and aims to support them in understanding these forces and responding to family and environmental stressors in more mindful and helpful ways.

Dr. Faith practices mindfulness meditation in her own life and teaches mindfulness practices to interested clients. She welcomes people from all backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, and sexualities.

Each of us has the right and the responsibility to assess the roads which lie ahead, and those over which we have traveled, and if the future looms ominous or unpromising, and the roads back uninviting, then we need to gather our resolve and, carrying only the necessary baggage, step off that road into another direction. If the new choice is also unpalatable, without embarrassment, we must be ready to change that as well.
